The Supreme Court is hearing arguments related to cases involving transgender athlete bans. Justices will hear two cases -- one out of Idaho, the other from West Virginia -- challenging whether states can ban transgender girls from participating in girls' and women's sports. The decisions on those cases will impact similar bans already enacted in about half of the U.S.        President Trump is heading to the Detroit area today to talk about ways his administration is "making America affordable again." White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt says Trump will kick-off his visit with a stop at a Ford factory that's producing more F-150 trucks because of tariffs. After that, he's scheduled to address the Detroit Economic Club, highlighting economic successes, including lower mortgage rates and falling gas prices.        The Trump administration has halted the temporary protected status for thousands of Somalis living in the U.S. Somali migrants who currently have temporary protected status will now have until March 17th to leave the country. This comes as Somalis have come under scrutiny due to allegations of childcare fraud in Minnesota.        Both Minnesota and Illinois are suing the Trump administration over ongoing immigration enforcement leaders say is unconstitutional and terrorizing communities. The separate lawsuits filed Monday come after the administration surged enforcement activity in Chicago and Minneapolis, the latter where an ICE agent fatally shot a woman last week. Both states are asking for a court injunction to stop the ongoing immigration operations.        The search is on for multiple monkeys that have been on the loose for several days in the St. Louis area. Missouri's Department of Health said the primates -- believed to be vervet monkeys -- have been spotted in or around O'Fallon Park. Tracking them has been made a bit more difficult by people using AI-generated images to claim they've captured some of the monkeys.        Barry Manilow will head out on tour next month after undergoing treatment for lung cancer. The tour announcement says Manilow's surgery went well and his medical team is optimistic. Manilow will kick off his arena tour on February 27th in Tampa.
