I-95 15 Bridges, Providence/Cranston/Warwick

Next Friday night, January 16, we’re scheduled to close the ramp from Jefferson Boulevard to I-95 South. Other work at this project next week includes removing the existing median barrier, relocating the temporary barrier to create a work zone for the West Elmwood Bridge, and raising the drainage structures on I-95 North and South in the vicinity of Jefferson Boulevard. Alternating lane closures are scheduled along I-95 North and South, from Route 37 to Thurbers Avenue, Sunday-Thursday nights, January 11-15, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Warwick Corridor Project

Over the next few weeks at this project, weather permitting, our crews are scheduled to start building the infiltration basin adjacent to the I-95 North ramp from Route 113 (Main Avenue) East. Additionally, crews will continue to place the approach sidewalks and install guardrail along East Avenue at the I-295 overpasses. No traffic impacts are expected.
