There's still no clear sign of when the government shutdown may end but food assistance payments could be making a return soon. Two federal judges have ruled that the Trump administration needs to make partial SNAP payments and can use some discretionary funds. In the meantime, the shutdown is also taking a toll on air travel. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is warning of more slowdowns and delays along with flight cancellations as air traffic controllers call in sick or work without pay.        Voters hit the polls tomorrow where some key race should shed light on how voters are feeling after nine month's of President Trump's second term in the White House. Early voting wrapped up in New York City Sunday where voters are choosing the city's next mayor. There will be no formal endorsement from former President Obama for mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani although the two did speak by phone over the weekend.        Energy Secretary Chris Wright is clarifying President Trump's recent call for the U.S. to resume nuclear weapons testing after more than three decades. Wright told Fox News' "The Sunday Briefing" that there wouldn't be massive nuclear explosions and that he thinks the tests Trump was referring to are more like systems tests. He defined those as non-critical explosions, tests on every part of a nuclear weapon short of a nuclear explosion.        The attorney representing a man arrested in Michigan as part of what the FBI said was a foiled terror plot says there's no evidence. Five people from Dearborn and Inkster were taken into custody Friday for what senior law enforcement said was a plan tied to ISIS to attack somewhere in the U.S. Attorney Amir Makled said he expects his client to either be charged with something or released today.        Elon Musk may see a flying Tesla in the future. In an appearance on "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast Friday, the tech billionaire said Tesla is getting closer to demonstrating the prototype for something unforgettable. When Rogan asked for more details, Musk said, Peter Thiel [[ teel ]] once reflected that the future was supposed to have flying cars, but we don't.        The college basketball season tips off Monday night. Among the top matchups on opening night is a double-header in the Hall of Fame Series in Las Vegas. Defending champion and number three Florida battles 13th-ranked Arizona and number eight BYU faces Villanova.
