Republicans are warning that the ongoing government shutdown could disrupt Thanksgiving travel. With no deal in sight, Democrats are holding firm on protecting healthcare subsidies, while unpaid air traffic controllers and TSA agents face continuing uncertainty. Lawmakers remain deadlocked weeks into the shutdown that began October 1st.        President Trump says six people were killed in the latest U.S. strike on a drug trafficking boat off Venezuela. Supporters like Miami's Ernesto Ackerman see the strike as a step toward removing Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, calling it a precise move in a larger plan. Optimism is growing among some Venezuelan Americans that change could be coming.        Two death row inmates were executed Tuesday in Missouri and Florida, just an hour apart. Florida executed Samuel Lee Smithers for a 1996 double murder, and Missouri carried out Lance Shockley for killing a state trooper 20 years ago. So far in 2025, 37 inmates have been executed in the U.S., the highest number since 2014.        Meta has removed a Facebook group accused of "doxing and targeting" ICE agents. Attorney General Pam Bondi said the Justice Department will keep working with tech companies to shut down platforms that incite violence against federal law enforcement. Meta confirmed the page was taken down for violating policies against coordinated harm, following similar actions by Apple and Google.        The U.S. Supreme Court has rejected Alex Jones' appeal, clearing the way for Sandy Hook families to collect an over one-billion-dollar judgment. Jones was found liable for claiming the 2012 school shooting was a hoax and that the victims' families were actors. The families' attorney says their focus now is making Jones and Infowars pay for the harm caused.        Carlos Santana is speaking out after false reports claimed he opposed Bad Bunny headlining next year's Super Bowl Halftime Show. Santana says he never made negative comments circulating on Facebook and fully supports Bad Bunny, celebrating his success and achievements.
