Travelers are scrambling as the FAA reduces flights due to the government shutdown. The move comes as the nation's air traffic controllers and TSA agents continue to work without pay during what has turned into the longest shutdown in U.S. history. Flight reductions of up to ten-percent are expected at 40 busy airports.        A federal judge says the Trump administration has to pay full November SNAP benefits by today. The judge in Rhode Island said during Thursday's hearing that "people have gone without for too long." The Trump administration had planned to partially fund the food stamp program for 42-million Americans.        The Senate is rejecting legislation that would make President Trump to get congressional approval for U.S. military action against Venezuela. The bipartisan resolution failed 49-51 with Republicans Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Kentucky's Rand Paul joining 47 Democrats who voted for the measure. Thursday's vote follows more than a dozen strikes against alleged drug trafficking boats that have killed at least 66 people.        The man charged with throwing a sandwich at a federal agent is not guilty. The verdict for Sean Dunn came Thursday after prosecutors earlier failed to get a felony indictment for the incident that happened on the streets of Washington, DC in August. During the trial, the border patrol officer testified that the sub "exploded all over" his chest, after Dunn threw it at him while yelling "fascists."        Democrats on the House Oversight Committee want former Prince Andrew to testify about the late sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew, who was accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old and was friends with Epstein, was stripped of his royal title last week over the backlash.        The Northern Lights may be visible overnight in nearly two dozen states. It's thanks to an arriving geomagnetic storm caused by a powerful solar flare. That means millions stand a good chance of catching a glimpse of the aurora borealis, or Northern Lights.
