LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is coming to RISE!

Musical comedy will be in full bloom with this perennially-popular, award-winning musical. Little Shop of Horrors blends doo-wop, rock, and Motown tunes into a charming and totally-twisted, monster hit. A strange and unusual plant seems like just the thing to save the troubled Skid Row flower shop and its unfortunate employees, Seymour and Audrey. But when that plant turns out to feed on human blood alone with plans of world domination…well, things get messy. With Grammy and Academy Award-winning songs, you’ll laugh and cringe at this darkly comedic horror musical.

Democrats came out on top in Tuesday night's key elections. Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani will be New York's next mayor, Democrat Abigail Spanberger won the Virginia governor's race, and Democrat Mikie [[ MY-key ]] Sherrill won the governor's race in New Jersey.        California Governor Gavin Newsom says Tuesday was a big win for Democrats. He spoke to reporters after Californians passed the measure redrawing congressional maps to favor Democrats. Proposition 50 was an effort fronted by Newsom that's aimed to gain more Democratic seats in Congress, after Texas redrew maps to add more Republicans.        President Trump says the Supreme Court tariffs case couldn't be more important for the future of the nation. The high court will take up the case Wednesday to consider the legality of Trump's global tariffs. In a post on Truth Social, the President said with a victory "we have tremendous, but fair, financial and national security." He said without the tariffs, the U.S. is "virtually defenseless" against other countries who have taken advantage of us for years.        Some U.S. airspace may be closed if the government continues. That's according to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. He said there will be "mass chaos" including mass flight delays and cancelations if the shutdown continues into next week.        Former Vice President Dick Cheney is being honored by former President Bush following his death at the age of 84. His family announced his passing, saying in a statement that he died Monday night due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease. In a statement, Bush said history will look upon Cheney as one of the finest public servants of his generation.        A large health care system in Maine is apologizing after mistakenly sending condolence letters to patients about their deaths. The nonprofit system MaineHealth includes hospitals, health care facilities and clinics in the state as well as New Hampshire and letters were sent to over 500 patients. An error in a computer system used for generating estate vendor letters is blamed for the mistake.
