St. James Church Manville 2019 Fish Fry Press Release
St. James Church, 33 Division Street in Manville, RI, is holding a Lenten Fish Fry on Friday, March 15th 2019 in the Fr. Brindamour Church Hall from 5:00-7:30PM. Fish and Chips will be served with bread, rolls, coleslaw, tartar sauce, dessert and beverages. The cost is $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for children 10 years old and younger. Tickets are available at the door. “Take-out” is also available. All proceeds will benefit the Parish’s Social Ministry programs. Call the Parish Office at 401-766-1558 if you have any questions.
The Senate has once again denied a spending measure that would end the government shutdown. It's the tenth time lawmakers have attempted to pass the legislation that's Republican-backed and has already made it through the House. Meanwhile, the Senate held a procedural vote on a measure that's meant to fund the Department of War.
