Seven jurors have been chosen for Donald Trump's New York City trial, and things are wrapping up for the day. The jury selection process will resume on Thursday until a panel of 12 New Yorkers and six alternates have been chosen. Trump's lawyers have had limited success asking for juror disqualifications because of anti-Trump social media posts.        Attorney General Merrick Garland says he has "complete confidence" in President Biden's mental fitness for office. Garland's comments were prompted by questions about special counsel Robert Hur's descriptions of Biden's memory in a report scrutinizing the president's handling of classified records. Hur described Biden as an "elderly man with a poor memory."        The chairman of the Federal Reserve is indicating interest rates likely won't be cut next month. Speaking at an economics forum in Washington, D.C. Tuesday, Jerome Powell said, "The recent data have clearly not given us greater confidence." He added there has been a "lack of progress" on inflation so far this year and that higher rates should remain as the Fed continues to try to get inflation down to two-percent.        The University of Southern California is canceling its valedictorian's speech this year due to security concerns. Asna Tabassum will not be delivering a speech after posting links to a website describing the country of Israel as "racist settlers." Those who take issue with the posts consider them to be anti semitic.        Iowa has enacted law making illegal immigration a state crime. The bill signed into law by Republican Governor Kim Reynolds allows state officers to arrest migrants who have previously faced deportation. Reynolds claims the Biden administration has failed to address drug trafficking and human smuggling at the border.        With weekend one already in the books, Coachella is well underway. The music festival in California is the most popular festival in the U.S. Online gambling company Betway analyzed the most popular festivals based on search volumes in the past 12 months, and Coachella came out on top with over three million searches in the past year.
