Kansas finally has a GOP nominee for governor one week after the primary election. Incumbent Governor Jeff Colyer [[ CALL-yer ]] conceded defeat Tuesday night to Secretary of State Kris Kobach [[ co-bock ]] in the Republican primary. Kobach's narrow lead over Colyer grew to more than 300 votes after the counting of provisional ballots across the state.        A report from a two-year grand jury investigation accuses over 300 priests in Pennsylvania of widespread sexual abuse and the church of coverups. Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said it involves six dioceses in Pennsylvania, including Allentown, Eerie, Greensburg, Harrisburg, Pittsburgh and Scranton. More than one-thousand child victims were identified and it is believed there were many more than that.        White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders says she gave incorrect numbers when talking about African American unemployment at a press briefing. She claimed President Trump had created more jobs for African Americans than President Obama did and gave the former president credit for only 195-thousand jobs in that community. Sanders sent a correction tonight admitting it was closer to three million.        A Republican candidate for the state house in Florida is dropping out of the race after lying about her college degree. FLA News Online was the first to report Melissa Howard did not earn a degree as she claimed from Miami University in Ohio. Howard denied the report and posted a photo of herself with a degree. However, Miami University officials confirmed Howard did not graduate and the degree in the photo is not a real one.        Derek Jeter is requiring minor league ball players to learn Spanish. The former New York Yankee is now CEO and part-owner of the Miami Marlins. ESPN says in his new role, Jeter has installed an education program in the minor leagues that teaches English to Latin American players. It also requires English-speaking players and coaches to learn Spanish. Jeter says he himself is enrolled in the Spanish class.
