President Trump is thousands of miles away in India but the upcoming presidential election is still very much on his mind today. Speaking to reporters in India, Trump was asked about Democratic frontrunner Bernie Sanders, and said, "I actually think he would be tougher than most of the other candidates because he is like me but I have a much bigger base."        Global stock markets are falling after a surge in the cases of coronavirus in Italy and South Korea. In the U.S., Dow futures were down more than 800 points, or more than two-point-seven percent, ahead of market open. Nasdaq futures were down three-point-three percent and the S&P 500 was also down two-point-seven percent.        Federal and local authorities are investigating after 18 Jewish community centers across New York were targeted with bomb threats Sunday. At least one center in New Jersey was also targeted. The threats were emailed but none were found to be credible.        Tens of thousands are expected to show up today for the Kobe Bryant memorial in Los Angeles. Fans will pack the Staples Center to bid a final farewell to the Los Angeles Lakers legend. A public memorial service will be held at the Lakers home court for Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, who died last month in a helicopter crash.        A court hearing is underway today in London to determine if Wikileaks founder Julian Assange will be extradited to the U.S. Assange, who lived for years in the Ecuadorian embassy in London and published classified U.S. documents, faces 17 espionage charges in the U.S. They're based on his website's publishing of secret military documents.       Jussie Smollett [[ jus-see smull-et ]] is scheduled to appear in court today in Chicago on new charges of staging a hate crime against himself. The former "Empire" actor was indicted earlier this month on six counts of disorderly conduct. Smollett claimed he was attacked last year by two men who yelled racist and homophobic slurs at him in Chicago.
