Dungeons and Dragons for Teens    Tuesdays 3:00-4:30pm

Anyone in Middle School or High School under the age of 18 is invited to join the weekly Dungeons and Dragons game. It’s an ongoing storytelling based adventure with the focus on fun and excitement rather than rules. From the darkened canals of Verenzia to the dinosaur filled jungles of Srathus, an entire world of role playing adventure awaits.

The Trump administration will partially fund SNAP benefits as the federal government shutdown continues. In a court filing today, the administration said the money would cover "50-percent of eligible households' current allotments." This comes after two separate rulings last week ordered the Trump administration to tap emergency funds that will cover some of the SNAP program.        Two suspects are facing federal charges in the alleged Michigan terror plot. They are among the five people FBI Director Kash Patel announced had been arrested last week for allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend. According to the criminal complaint, one of the men bought a shotgun and an AR-15 style rifle along with other accessories in August and September.        President Trump hopes to energize voters in Virginia and New Jersey by holding tele-rallies ahead of tomorrow's key elections. Voters in both states will head to the polls to elect new governors. Democrats are leading in the polls in both states but in New Jersey, Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli [[ Chit-uh-relly ]] has been closing the gap to almost a dead heat.        Officials in Louisiana are investigating after two girls were injured when they were thrown off a ferris wheel. It happened at the New Roads Harvest Festival on Saturday. One girl reportedly suffered broken bones, and the other has a possible brain bleed, although both are considered non-life threatening. They were 20 or 25 feet off the ground when they fell from the ride.        The college basketball season is here. Winthrop defeated Queens University this morning to kick off the season. One of the best games of the day will feature Florida against Arizona in Las Vegas. Other top teams in action today include St. John's, Michigan, UConn, BYU and Houston.        Hollywood is looking at the worst weekend box office of the year so far. A weekend that included Halloween and the nail-biter finale of the World Series saw theaters bring in a total of just 49-million dollars. The Colleen Hoover adaptation "Regretting You" edged out horror film "Black Phone 2" as the top draw for the lackluster weekend.
