Speaking at Rural Health Roundtable at the White House, Trump said billions of dollars are being divided among states for rural health care and that's possible to due to massive cuts to waste and fraud. Trump said the funds will improve technology and staffing at hospitals in those communities.        Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado is set to give remarks soon. It comes after she gifted her 2025 Nobel Peace Prize to President Trump yesterday. The two met at the White House, and afterward, Machado told reporters she presented the medal to Trump in appreciation for deposing Venezuela's former leader Nicolas Maduro.        Snow is in the forecast for millions across the country this weekend. The highest snow totals are expected from New England down to parts of Pennsylvania. Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia could also see large snow fall totals, which could create travel issues in the busy I-95 corridor.        All four members of NASA's now historic SpaceX Crew-11 mission are getting re-acclimated to Earth. As part of standard protocol, they're expected to be flown to Johnson Space Center in Houston today for an overall evaluation which could be days or weeks as they transition back to Earth. The crew splashed down off the coast of California in the early morning hours of Thursday after their mission was cut short due to an unnamed crew member with an undisclosed medical issue.        The 2026 Detroit Auto Show will open to the public tomorrow. The show will run through January 25th. The Red Carpet Charity Preview is being held tonight and that event has raised over 125-million dollars for Detroit-area children's nonprofits since it started in 1976.        The first round of the Australian Open is set to begin on Sunday. Second-seeded Jannik Sinner will be looking for his third straight grand slam title in Melbourne after claiming the crown in 2024 and 2025. Carlos Alcaraz enters as the top-seed as he continues his search for his first Australian Open title.
