The 83-year-old has been serving since 1994. President Biden is expected to nominate a Black woman to take his seat.       Millions in the Northeast are preparing for a massive storm to hit tomorrow night. Forecasters say it'll have the power of a hurricane, unleashing eight to 16 inches of snow and causing blizzard-like conditions. A winter storm watch is in effort for Massachusetts and Rhode Island.       A Texas man charged in last year's Capitol attack isn't getting out of jail. A judge ruled Stewart Rhodes must stay behind bars until his trial, saying his release could endanger others. Rhodes is the leader of the right-wing militia group Oath Keepers and pleaded not guilty this week.       A Pulitzer Prize-winning book about the Holocaust is being banned in Tennessee. The McMinn County School Board voted to remove "Maus" from its eighth-grade curriculum. Board members objected to the use of eight curse words and an image of a naked woman.       The first execution of the year will be carried out this morning. A 46-year-old man will be put to death by the state of Oklahoma for killing two hotel workers during a 2001 robbery. The Supreme Court denied an emergency stay and will likely take up another execution in Alabama that was put on hold.       The education program, D.A.R.E. [[ dare ]] is speaking out against "Euphoria." It slammed the HBO show saying it glorifies high school student drug use, addiction, sex, and violence. They offered to help the network make changes by hearing from its young team members.
