An indictment has been handed up to former Trump national security adviser John Bolton. Justice Department officials in Maryland brought the charges which are all related to alleged mishandling of classified documents. Bolton faces federal counts that are connected to the Espionage Act. His Maryland home and DC office were searched by FBI agents in August. Bolton became a strong critic of President Trump after he left the administration in 2019.        The Senate has again denied a spending measure that would end the government shutdown. It's the tenth time lawmakers have attempted to pass the legislation that's Republican-backed and has already made it through the House. Meanwhile, the Senate held a procedural vote on a measure that's meant to fund the Department of War. Democrats blocked the legislation as they want discussions to begin on an extension of subsidies related to Obamacare.        President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet in Hungary in the coming weeks. The president announced the plans in a Truth Social post following a call with the Russian leader today. The call took place a day before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to meet with Trump at the White House. The two leaders may discuss the possibility of Ukraine receiving Tomahawk missiles as its war with Russia continues.        "No Kings Day" protests are planned across the country this weekend. The protests come as a follow up to a series of No Kings marches that took place on June 14th and coincided with the Army's 250th anniversary military parade in Washington, D.C. Around two-thousand demonstrations are expected to be held across all 50 states as well as Canada and Mexico on Saturday in protest of President Trump and his administration.        Hamas says it has returned all the bodies of Israeli hostages that it can. The Palestinian militant group said Wednesday that it had "abided by what was agreed upon and has handed over all the living captives in its possession and the corpses it could access." The ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas called on the militants to turn over 28 deceased hostages within 72 hours, but they have returned only nine bodies so far. Hamas says it would take "significant efforts and special equipment" to recover the remaining bodies from the destruction in Gaza.        KISS rocker Ace Frehley has died at 74. His death was confirmed in a statement from his family. In September, Frehley announced he was pausing his solo tour due to a "minor fall" in his studio. The guitarist was one of the founding members of KISS in 1973.
