Tomorrow is Election Day with several key races. In New York City, Democrat frontrunner Zohran Mamdani looks to win the mayor's office over former Governor Andrew Cuomo, running as an independent and Republican Curtis Sliwa. In California, voters will decide on Governor Gavin Newsom's plan to redraw congressional district maps in an effort to get more Democrats on Capitol Hill, a response to other GOP-led redistricting plans in a handful of states across the country.        The Senate is not scheduled to vote today on a funding measure that would end the government shutdown. The shutdown is now track to become the longest in history tomorrow, surpassing one from President Trump's first term. It comes as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, ran out of money on Saturday. Two federal judges have ruled that the Trump administration needs to make partial payments and can use some discretionary funds.        President Trump says Hamas has returned the body of Omer Neutra to Israel. The American-Israeli citizen was among the three bodies returned by Hamas. Israeli officials believe Neutra, a Long Island native who was an Israeli soldier, was killed in the October 7th attacks in 2023. He joined the IDF after a gap year in Israel and went to college at Binghamton University.        A lawyer representing a man arrested in Michigan as part of what the FBI said was a foiled terror plot says there's no evidence. Five people from Dearborn and Inkster were taken into custody Friday for what senior law enforcement said was a plan tied to ISIS to attack somewhere in the U.S. Some of the suspects are reportedly naturalized citizens from the Middle East who had guns and firearms training.        Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is visiting the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea today. Hegseth is on a two-day trip to South Korea and is planning security talks with his counterpart. The DMZ is along the line established between the two Koreas as part of the truce that ended the Korean war in 1953.        The nominees for the first-ever TikTok Awards are out now. The popular video sharing app will honor the top creators of the year across several categories including sports, fashion and film and TV. Nominees for Creator of the Year include Alix Earle, Keith Lee, Adam W, Brooke Monk and Kristy Sarah.
