One of the best ways to experience Blackstone Valley in Autumn is on the water! Blackstone River Expeditions is excited to offer kayak and canoe rentals on the Blackstone River departing from Central Falls Landing.

 

WALK-UP RENTALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE

Rentals are available for either 45 minutes or 90 minutes and we have single kayaks, tandem kayaks (2 people), and canoes (3 people).

COVID booster shots could roll out as soon as next week if the FDA gives the green light. An advisory committee is meeting today to decide whether to approve Pfizer's application for a third dose. The company says another shot is needed since vaccine protection drops every two months.        The federal prosecutor looking into the origins of the Russia investigation is indicting a lawyer. Attorney Michael Sussmann is accused of lying to the FBI. A grand jury alleges he hid the fact he was working for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign.        Millions of people should get their third round of child tax credit payments soon. The IRS started sending them out Wednesday. Most parents can expect to automatically receive 250 to 300 dollars for each child up to age 17.        The Department of Homeland Security is expecting about 700 people to attend tomorrow's rally at the Capitol. The group is gathering to support all those arrested during January's Capitol attack. Similar rallies may be held in other cities.       The family of a 22-year-old missing woman is writing a letter to her fianc's family. They've been silent on the whereabouts of Gabrielle Petito. She was last heard from at the end of August during a road trip. Brian Laundrie returned home without her.       The last Sears department store is set to shut its doors for good in the retailer's home state of Illinois. It'll close on November 14th. Sears Holdings filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection three years ago.
