President Trump says Colombia needs to stop production of illegal drugs. In a post on Truth Social on Sunday, Trump called Colombian President Gustavo Petro "an illegal drug dealer" who "strongly encourages the massive production of drugs." Trump went on to say if Petro doesn't take immediate action to halt it, the U.S. will do it for him.        Vice President JD Vance will be in Israel this week to discuss the second phase of President Trump's Gaza peace plan. He's expected in the region on Tuesday, a day later than previously reported. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and presidential adviser Jared Kushner are due to arrive Monday.        President Trump has appointed a new special envoy to Iraq. The announcement naming Mark Savaya, a Michigan-based businessman, as the special envoy to Iraq was made on the president's Truth Social page. Savaya's LinkedIn page shows no government experience at the local, state or federal level. He owns a chain of marijuana dispensaries in the Detroit area called Leaf and Bud.        Former New York Republican Congressman George Santos wants to change the prison system after spending 84 days behind bars. Santos, who was sentenced to seven years for wire fraud and identity theft, had his sentence commuted last week by President Trump. Now after his stint FCI Fairton in New Jersey, Santos says prison is dehumanizing and humbling and he wants to dedicate his entire life to prison reform.        French police are reporting a jewel heist at the Louvre Museum. The thieves reportedly broke into the museum at about 9:30 yesterday morning local time, shortly before it opened to the public. French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez says two or three thieves were able to open two display cases in a gallery that held France's crown jewels, and then left the scene on motorbikes.        New Pew Research Center data shows divorced Americans won't stay single for long. The research titled "eight facts" about divorce in the U.S. says two-thirds of divorcees will eventually go on to tie the knot again.
