The form is the same for all three social media sites it just lets me know you want to join the program and we will send you an email with the zoom code. If you have already sent me an email you don't need to also do the webform.  

 

Local music teacher and musical performer Greg Cooney will join us live on zoom to help chase those "stay-at-home blues."  Greg will entertain us with some fun music and show us how to make our own musical instruments at home. The instruments will come in handy as you and your family celebrate the New Year with your own music!  

 

A list of materials you might want to have available are: 

Any clean recyclable items paper towel tubes, cereal boxes, cardboard boxes, paper lunch bags, old metal spoons, paper or plastic plates or cups, plastic water bottles, clean food containers, jars with lids. 

 

Dry rice, beans, small stones, anything that makes a sound when put in a container.  

 

School Supplies Needed are: rubber bands, staples, tape, glue and safe scissors. 

As Greg says, if you drop it and hear a ring bring it with you and some string. 

Don't forget you can decorate your item if you have decorative paper or stickers! 

Basically look around your house for anything that combined with another object will make noise! Greg will be live on zoom and can see what you have in front of you and make suggestions for what you can do with the stuff you have already.  

 

Suitable for all ages even if you have two paper plates and a box of Cheerio's from preschoolers to adults! Program is also good for adults. Ms. Chris will also be participating with an assortment of items. Let's make music together to bring in a happy New Year. 

 

 

President Trump says Denmark can't deal with what he calls the Russian threat to Greenland. The President has been pushing for U.S. ownership of the autonomous Danish territory, which has voiced staunch opposition to any U.S. takeover. Trump over the weekend announced new tariffs against European countries that oppose his arctic plans.        Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey [[ fry ]] isn't pleased with reports 15-hundred active-duty soldiers are ready for possible deployment to Minnesota amid ongoing anti-ICE protests. During an interview with CNN's "State of the Union," Frey says the move is "clearly designed to intimidate."        Most Americans think the economy has grown weaker under President Trump. The poll released by The Wall Street Journal last week found nearly 60 percent of those surveyed rate the economy as "not so good" or "poor." Less than ten percent described the economy as "excellent" while 33 percent described it as being "good."        The Divisional Round of the NFL postseason is in the books. The Patriots thumped the Texans 28-16 from Foxboro while the Rams edged the Bears 20-17 in overtime from Chicago. New England visits Denver for the AFC Championship game after the top-seeded Broncos took down the Bills 33-30 in OT on Saturday. Los Angeles will head to Seattle to play for a spot in Super Bowl 60.        There's no trading on Wall Street today in observance of MLK Day. No major economic reports are on the calendar until Wednesday.        A Republican candidate for governor in Florida is suggesting a 50 percent "sin tax" on OnlyFans incomes. James Fishback recently said on the conservative podcast NXR Studios that all creators in Florida should pay 50-percent toward tat state on all earnings gained through the platform. The "sin tax" would fund crisis-pregnancy centers, mental-health initiatives and education systems.
