Juhmel Dwyer (age 25)

On November 6, 2020, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Juhmel Dwyer with four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon in a dwelling, one count of assault with intent to murder, one count of use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, one count of possession of a stolen firearm, one count of possession of a stolen firearm while committing a crime of violence, one count of domestic simple assault, one count of simple assault, one count of resisting arrest, one count of possession of a firearm without a license, and one count of possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the town of Cumberland sometime on July 26, 2020. The Cumberland Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on November 13, 2020 in Providence County Superior Court.

 

 

Richard Stephens (age 52)

On November 6, 2020, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Richard Stephens with six counts of first-degree sexual assault, two counts of first-degree child molestation, six counts of second-degree child molestation, and one count of domestic simple assault.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Central Falls on diverse dates between August 2005 and September 2020. The Central Falls Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on November 25, 2020 in Providence County Superior Court.

The Border Patrol chief says local police are not working with ICE in Minneapolis. Greg Bovino says unlike in other states, Democrat lawmakers in Minnesota are stopping police from helping ICE keep the protests under control.        DHS Secretary Kristi Noem says people may need to prove they are U.S. citizens to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. Noem spoke to reporters at the White House Thursday and was asked about operations in Minnesota. Noem said that during enforcement, there may be individuals surrounding a target that we may be asked who they are and why they're there and officials are, in her words, "having them validate their identity."        President Trump says the "board of peace" to oversee Gaza has been formed. Trump took to Truth Social to say that the members of the board will be announced soon, calling it the "greatest and most prestigious board ever assembled at any time, any place." He went on to add that it is officially the next phase of the Israel-Gaza 20-point peace plan.        NASA will roll out the Artemis Two rocket this weekend. It's in preparation for the next moon mission. The rocket is set to roll out to Launch Pad 39-B at Kennedy Space Center on Saturday. The move marks a major milestone for the first crewed lunar mission in over 50 years.        The mother of one of Elon Musk's children is suing his xAI artificial intelligence company over its AI tool Grok for allegedly creating deepfake sexually explicit photos of her. Ashley St. Clair's suit is the latest complaint against the company after weeks of outrage over Grok being used to create nonconsensual explicit photos of numerous people, including children.        Spotify is raising prices for its premium streaming plans next month. Individual premium plans will increase to 12-dollars and 99-cents per month, with Student plans increasing to six-dollars and 99-cents per month. Duo plans will go up to 18-dollars and 99-cents per month and Family plans increasing to 21-dollars and 99-cents per month, and Student plans increasing to six-dollars and 99-cents per month.
