We at O-N Radio would like to extend our sincerest congratulations and "see you later" to our friend Joe Callahan. If you haven't yet heard, Friday October 23rd will be Joe's last day with O-N Radio as a full-timer. 


Over the past eight years Joe has worked as the station's customer delivery specialist, selling advertising to local businesses, in addition to being an on-air moderator for Coffee An', hosting the Tiki Bar, and hosting our afternoon request oldies show. 


Joe is a long time friend to ON Radio and although he has to leave us for now, we are so excited for what is in store for him and thankful for all he has done for us. 

President Trump is keeping up his efforts to challenge the election results. On Twitter, Trump suggested that he's not stopping lawsuits in a last ditch effort to swing the election in his favor. He said the decision to have the federal government start the transition process has nothing to do with legal battles.        Coronavirus cases in children are on the rise. The American Academy of Pediatrics says there were more than 144-thousand new cases of the virus in American children last week. Over the past two weeks, there's been a nearly 30-percent jump of COVID-19 in kids. Children now make up eleven percent of all confirmed cases of the virus in the U.S.       New York City is mourning the death of its first and only Black mayor. NYPD officials have confirmed that David Dinkins died Monday night in his Lenox Hill apartment at the age of 93. A Trenton native who practiced law in New York City before starting a career in politics, Dinkins apparently died of natural causes.        More than a dozen members of an alleged crime family in Philadelphia are facing federal charges. The indictment announced Monday against the 15 alleged gangsters accused them of racketeering conspiracy, illegal gambling, loansharking, and drug trafficking. Among the defendants are 60-year-old Joseph Servidio, also known as "Joey Electric," and 73-year-old Anthony Gifoli a-k-a "Tony Meatballs."        A member of the Getty family is dead in Texas. WOAI reported yesterday that 52-year old John Gilbert Getty was found unresponsive in a San Antonio hotel room. TMZ also reports the story citing law enforcement sources who say Getty was found dead this past Friday and that no foul play is suspected. His father is businessman and philanthropist Gordon Getty and his grandfather was oil mogul J. Paul Getty.       One of the greatest Jeopardy champions ever is the show's new interim host. Ken Jennings will be behind the podium when the show resumes production at the end of the month. It will be the first episodes since the death of host Alex Trebek on November 8th. Jennings will be the first of a series of guest hosts.
