President Trump is reacting to Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani being elected the next mayor of New York City. Trump called Mamdani's victory speech "angry," especially towards him. The president added that he felt Mamdani should be nice to him, because he's the one who has to approve a lot of things for the nation's largest city. At the American Business Forum in Miami on Wednesday, Trump said "we want New York to be successful," but suggested he'll take a wait-and-see approach on, in his words, "how a communist does in New York." Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear says the death toll from the UPS plane crash at Louisville Muhammad Ali Airport has climbed to 12, including a child, while investigators say one of the plane's engines detached from the plane on takeoff. Two people remain in critical condition at UofL Hospital's burn center as investigators look over the jet's two black boxes found at the crash site.
