Joseph Felix (age 41)

East Providence, RI

On September 30, 2020, the Statewide Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Joseph Felix with one count of first-degree sexual assault. 

 

The alleged act occurred in the city of Cranston sometime between April 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015. The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on October 21, 2020 in Providence County Superior Court.

 

 

Brian Silva (age 32)

Warwick, RI

On September 30, 2020, the Statewide Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Brian Silva with one count of first-degree child molestation, one count of second-degree child molestation, and one count of simple assault and battery. 

 

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Pawtucket sometime between June 30, 2016 and June 30, 2018. The Pawtucket Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on October 21, 2020 in Providence County Superior Court.

 

 

Paul Raposo (age 26)

Woonsocket, RI

On September 30, 2020, the Statewide Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Paul Raposo with one count of murder; one count of discharging a firearm while committing a crime of violence, resulting in death; one count of carrying a pistol without a license; one count of failing to report a death; and one count of firing in a compact area.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Woonsocket sometime on June 26, 2020. The Woonsocket Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on October 14, 2020 in Providence County Superior Court. He is currently being held without bail at the Adult Correctional Institutions (ACI).

President Trump wants four more years in the White House and that's where he's expected to be on election night. There had been speculation that he might watch election results from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. CNN says the President and members of the First Family will be at the White House before heading to a party at the Trump International Hotel in DC.       Former President Barack Obama is looking to deliver the White House for his former Vice President. Obama traveled to Orlando for a drive-up rally on behalf of Joe Biden and said President Trump does not take his job seriously. He added that Trump treats the presidency like a reality TV show.       It's day one on the job for the newest member of the Supreme Court. Justice Amy Coney Barrett began her duties after being administered the Judicial Oath by Chief Justice John Roberts.        Those who have recovered from the coronavirus are dealing with what's being called "brain fog." Researchers at the Imperial College of London discovered that and those who had really bad symptoms are seeing the worst brain fog.       A former New York City Police officer is facing a judgment of around one-million-dollars in a civil case stemming from an incident in Nashville, Tennessee. Court documents released yesterday showed a judge approved the amount against Michael Reynolds for breaking into a black family's home in the middle of the night and assaulting them while shouting racial slurs in 2018. Reynolds, who is white, was intoxicated during the event and later pled guilty to multiple charges and was fired from the NYPD.       J. M. Smucker Company announced plans on Monday to sell off a very well-known household name. Smucker's, the jelly people, are selling off Crisco to B and G Foods, the people behind the jolly green giant and about 50 other brands. The sale is a 550-million dollar cash deal
