President Trump's defense team will resume their arguments in today's impeachment hearing as new revelations are undermining their case. In it he claims Trump directly said the military aid to Ukraine would not be released until it announced investigations he wanted that included former Vice President Joe Biden.        Government agencies are launching investigations into the helicopter crash that killed NBA legend Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter, and seven others. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board with the help of the FBI are looking into how the chopper crashed yesterday morning northwest of Los Angeles. The helicopter can usually carry up to 12 passengers with two pilots.        People around the world are reacting to the death of NBA great Kobe Bryant. Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and seven others died Sunday morning in a helicopter crash about 30 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Political leaders, athletes, and celebrities expressed condolences and their own sadness. Presidents Trump and Obama, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and all-time NBA scoring leader Kareem Abdul Jabbar among those sharing their thoughts.        Doctors are warning that tens of thousands of people are already infected with the Wuhan [[ WOO-hahn ]] coronavirus. It has already claimed more than 50 lives. Officials have confirmed more than 27-hundred cases of the virus but the doctors say 44-thousand people have probably been infected in Wuhan alone, the Chinese region where the outbreak began. The experts estimate that the number of infections is doubling every six days.        All passengers aboard an airplane flying over central Afghanistan are likely dead. The plane crashed in territory currently under control of the Taliban, so details are still murky. A spokesman for the governor's office in Ghazni said there are about 100 bodies at the scene.        A teen pop star is cleaning up at the Grammys. Billie Eilish swept the major categories at the 2020 Grammys, awarded Sunday night in Los Angeles. The 18-year-old superstar took home the awards for Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and the top prize, Album of the Year for her debut "When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?"
